« Gulp | Main | Wordless Wednesday- Here comes # 4 »

Yes, I'm pregnant.

What do you get when a certain prescription runs out and you're in a new town & don't have a new Dr. to refill that prescription?  Add to that a toddler nursing less and less everyday resulting in a certain friend returning once a month at exactly the same time as said prescription running out.  Any math wizards out there? The answer is, here comes baby #4.

How far along am I? I think about 7 weeks. It's hard to say exactly but I'll let you know a due date when I find out.

How am I feeling?  Pretty good. I had some all day sickness last week but I've been able to keep that at bay. However, I am extremely tired. Extremely. Anytime I sit down for more than 2 min. I fall asleep. It's hard not to down some caffeine just to be able to keep up with the other kids.

Am I hoping for a girl? I would be lying if I said that I don't want a girl at all. I'd love to have a girl. On the other hand, We love having just boys. Another boy would be so much fun and much easier. So whatever God gives us, I'll be happy. Really, honestly, whatever we get, I'll be happy. By the way, we've just started telling people, and already people feel the need to share with us what they hope our baby is. I really hate this. If you have an opinion on what you want this baby to be, please keep it to yourself.  Ok that sounded mean, sorry. It really is a pet Peave of mine.

What am I craving? I've been craving really bad for you fatty fried foods. Yesterday I just HAD to have the Dairy Queen chicken strip basket with the gravy dipping sauce. Nothing sounds better than bacon and eggs in the morning. Basically, if you cook it in butter or oil, I want it.

I've been walking the boys to (and sometimes from) school everyday. It's about a mile each way. So, I'm hoping that by walking 2-4 miles everyday that I can keep extra weight gain from coming. I did just get back into my size 4 clothes. I actually wore a pair of pajamas the other night that I wore in college. I guess I can kiss that goodbye.

Isn't that the way it goes? Fit into your pre-preggo clothes and you can guarantee you've got another one on the way. Well, I guess I won't be having a baby anytime soon then if that logic works! ;)

Congrats again!

Ha! What worked for me was getting rid of ALL the baby stuff. 3 months later, here comes Carter! And I totally understand the "don't you want a girl?" question. I get it all the time and I'm not even pregnant. And, CONGRATULATIONS again!!!

For me, it's ALWAYS losing the last ten baby pounds that gets me pregnant!
And congratulations AGAIN! I'm so happy for you!
ALL I wanted to eat in the first trimester of my pregnancies was the worst sort of junk - Doritos and gingerale were pretty much all I could hold.

My thoughts exactly when it came to us having #2. I would tease the thought of having a girl, but having another boy just seemed easier and recycling all those boy clothes and toys, hello, cheaper!

It's so neat to start reading about your pregnancy. The DQ stop sounded delicious!

So, so exciting! It sounds like our due dates will be very close together, so I'm excited to read about your pregnancy and what someone else is going through at the same points along the way! I am right there with you on the tiredness, I can barely hold my eyes open sometimes; thank goodness for little ones who nap. And cravings - I'm all about the unhealthy stuff - brownies, chips, french fries, etc.

Congrats, congrats, congrats to you and Scott!

I don't know why we crave bad foods when we get pregnant. I craved french fries and onion rings with Bubbie... with Grayson, I'm craving anything sweet.... gosh! especially fruit, which is fantastic JUST EXPENSIVE!!! :) I hope your first trimester goes by quickly!

Congratulations! Surprises are the best... a little scary, yes, but such a fun reminder that we're not in control. Enjoy that junk food!

WHAT?!?! I can NEVER open your pictures the first day they're posted (no idea why) so I missed what your wordless Wed pic was. WOW!! How exciting!! Congratulations, and best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby!

I too, hated the "tryin for that girl, eh?" Or, when she WAS a SHE, "You got your girl, eh?" Blecccch.

You know I'm one of the ones that is just so happy you're having a BABY... boy or girl! I like the goal of getting back into my pre-pregnancy clothes and THEN that is a good time to try again. So you're doing well!! : )

Congratulations!! I am very happy for you! :)

I don't know if it works for pregnancies or not, since I have never been pregnant, but a couple of months ago, I started taking an iron supplement and my energy is way up! And it lasts all day! (or at least longer than caffeine does). Just an idea.

Congrats!! How exciting!! I don't like it when people tell me what they want my baby to be either. Everyone wants a boy...like they'll be disappointed if I have another girl. Geesh. I also don't like that now that I'm overdue people call and say "when is that baby coming???" like I have any say so in the matter!!!!! Ugh.

Still congrats. So exciting. I did enjoy your "matter of fact answers" you hit the nail on the head with your post, all those things, I know I felt and I only made it to number 3 (I did not get to be involved in his planning). I can tell you that the comments, when you have a boy and a girl already aren't much better. I think people just don't know exactly what to say so they say anything and everything. About the bigger size clothes, your body already knows what to do, and afterwards, you already know what to do!! Praying all goes very well.

Congrats! To you and Scott, I can't believe you guys will have four children. I remember when you two got married at the church. Time flies when you're having fun. I'm glad to see you both are doing so well and the little ones are too cute!

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY! I'm so thrilled for you, sugar!!! And I truly hope to follow in your footsteps in a few months. =) I craved fried chicken my entire pregnancy...it was a bit obscene. I couldn't get enough of it.

SO HAPPY FOR YOU~!! Boy or girl that kid is lucky to be getting such a cool mama.

xxoo.

Okay, I have never met you in person yet through our followings of each other's blog, I feel the excitement and frustrations that you experience. I am sorry that people's comments tend to take away from that excitement you have with their opinions. It is tough because I think that a pregnant woman will get them whether it is her first or if it is her fourth. Like a previous poster's thoughts, I think that people sometimes just don't know what to say so blurt out something that they think is conversational and nice.

We all know that the sex doesn't really matter when it comes to being blessed with another baby. I mean how could it really matter when you look into that precious little one's eyes?

Good luck on combating the tiredness. Wow. I had a tough time working and keeping up with my son when pregnant with my daughter, I can't imagine the challenges some days with trying to keep up with three gorgeous boys!!

I am truly very happy for you and Scott.
