Hotel Living; or Microwave Popcorn for Breakfast
So, this past week we have been living in hotels as we traveled to Florida. It is very difficult to live with a 5, 3 and 1year old in hotel rooms. First of all,

Well, it took us 4 days but we're finally here! We needed to leave a few days ahead of schedule because the movers said they'd deliver our stuff on the 30th or 31st instead of the 2nd. The trip has been GREAT! I mean it- really great!
We took a slight detour out of our way in Kentucky. Our first night we stayed in Bowling Green (about a 4 hour drive). The next day we went to Mammoth Caves and Dinosaur World (pictures to be posted later).
From there we drove about another 4 ours to get back on track in Chattanooga. We stayed downtown and visited the Tennessee Aquarium on Monday morning. Yesterday was our longest driving day. After the Aquarium we drove the entire length of Georgia. Thanks to our DVD player the ride went smooth, without incident and even without much complaining.
We stayed in Valdosta (pronounced Valdusta) Georgia last night about 20 miles from the Florida border. 250 miles later we arrived in our new hometown this afternoon! We saw the new house, visited the local mall with some new friends and, of course, took advantage of the hotel pool. Our things will arrive on Thursday morning. I can't believe that we actually live here!! I keep telling myself, this is not some cool vacation, it's our new home!
Specific details of our trip and photos will come when we get into our house and find the box with the right cords to hook all that up.

Wel, it's late Thursday night, there is a box for everything and everything is in it's box. Tomorrow morning the movers will be here to load everything up. After the movers are gone, I've got to clean and do a final walk through. Then it's some last minute banking and we're off to the beautiful state of Florida. So for now, I'm signing off. I'll return to you after the weekend when we are on the road.
I'm so excited to start this new phase of life!! I've been planning/ talking about this move for a year and now, here it is, actually happeneing!! Woo Hoo!

I know you all are sitting on the edge of your seats waiting to hear more details of our move but your not going to get that today. Sort of...
While packing, I was putting some purses in a box. One was what I was using last year right before Ethan was born. Since then, I haven't used a purse much- it's been diaper bag lady city. Anyway, a note fell out of my purse. I wrote it to Adventures in Babywearing Steph. I remember thinking that I would give it to her the next time we saw each other at church but I guess our paths didn't cross. So, I thought I'd spill it's contents here for her to read.

Thank you so much for coming to the get-together on Monday night! I really had fun! I will miss our girls night outs! It's so nice to sit and be ourselves without all our men! (Insert smiley face) Thank you for being my friend. I really have enjoyed our few times together! Also, thank you for the booties, gift card, and use of your sling. We love them all! I can't wait till baby gets here & we can use them! Thank you for all your prayers & support.
