Oh man do I want one!
I'm sure you've seen the Dyson Vacuum. They are the latest and coolest of vacuums. I have wanted one since I first set my eyes on them several years ago. However, I have not been able to justify spending at least $500.00 on a vacuum. Well, 5 minutes for mom is having a giveaway and this time the prise is a Dyson Slim!!!!!!
So, here's hoping and praying that I (or you?) could be the winner. The great thing about this contest is that you don't have to have a blog to enter! Just hop over to 5 minutes for mom and check it out!
Sleep, Sleep Wherefore art thou oh sleep?
The baby seems to be in some kind of pain. He had a fever for about two days. That's gone. Now he just seems to be in pain. Last night his "schedule" went a little something like this.
Midnight: Nurse, go to bed
1:30: cry till mom holds me back to sleep
2:45: Nurse, go back to bed
5:15: Nurse, go back to bed
7:30: Nurse, get up and play but cry at most of it
This is the third night he has been acting like this. Some of it I think has to do with his boycott of all things edible except mamma's milk. But, I'd much rather he cluster feed during light hours. I was giving him Motrin to break his fever. I'm considering something a little stronger for bed time tonight. Maybe something from the Jack Daniels Aisle! Just Kidding, I would never do that!!!
Wordless Wednesday

Boys need their Fathers
The other day my husband and my sons were outside playing. The boys were having more fun than usual so I was very interested in what was going on. As I watched I realized that I would NEVER have thought to play this game. Then even if the boys thought of playing this game I would not have enjoyed playing along and would have probably suggested that I watch while they play. Here's what they were doing, it started with guys and blocks, they were going to build a fort with the blocks and then play with the guys. Ok, nothing unusual. Soon they were savaging through the toy room looking for blocks that were just the right size to be the bombs. I thought, "silly boys." A few min. later my curiosity was peaked and I looked outside. They had set up the guys on the bigger blocks. They drew a line in sidewalk chalk. The object, was to stand behind the line and throw "bombs" at the guys to try to take them out. Completely lost on me as a girl but they had a blast. Boys need their fathers. Here's a few pictures. It appears even baby Jack Jack was not spared, but Zurg and Darth Vader are still standing!
My Bags
I looked over at Adventures in Babywearing today and I thought, "now here's a photo tag I can get excited about!"
