I'm at a loss

So every once in a while I check over to this blog that my husband reads quite often.

Last month I saw this post and I just can't get it out of my mind. He's done several posts called MessiahWatch. They are all quite interesting but this one really just takes the cake. I am no Jesse Jackson fan. In fact, the idea that he is called a Reverend makes me nauseous.

Let me be clear, I agree 100% that Barak Obama running for president is an extrodinary and significant event in the history of our country. I am so excited to be living in the time when we had the possibility of either the first woman or first black man to become our country's president. However, the Bible is not a high school world history book that you can just add significant happenings onto the end of. For crying out loud! Ugh, I just...I'm just...at a loss.

Ok so that's the only and last thing remotely political you will get from me. Unless Jesse Jackson ticks me off again.

Girl...I agree with ya. The reverend part always annoyed me too.... with anyone. We use to have "reverends" coming into the bank. They always had HUGE wads of cash (they were depositing- just showing them) and said unnecessary and sometimes inappropriate things to the staff... Not my idea of Gods workers!

Well, he's in the news this morning about making comments when he thought the sound was off during a news program....So, maybe we will hear from you on this one? Go Sheryl!
