Guilty Pleasure

So, I have to admit it. I am totally sitting here with my few precious moments of the morning that I have when Aisling is sleeping and Ethan is entertaining himself. Moments when I should be drying my hair (I did wash it this morning) or eating breakfast. What am I doing? I'm totally watching New Kids on the Block belting out some favorites from my childhood, in the rain on the Today Show. And I'm LOVING EVERY MIN OF IT! After all, I am the girl who proudly hung an "I'm Joey's Girl" button on my jean purse. I did until my dad made me throw that button away anyway. Mean dad. I had the NKOTB lunch box and bed sheets thank you very much. Of course I had all of their cassette tapes. Boy does this make me feel old. Ok, I really do need to dry my hair now but I so will be singing Hangin' Tough while I dry.

I went to a NKOTB girl scout party where you were supposed to dress as your favorite New Kid. I can't remember exactly who I was (Joey??) but I know I went with a hat that had a hole in the top. LOL! Lame, lame, lame, lame , lame.....

I too adorned the joey button, but on my jean jacket.

Did not like NKOTB, but I took my cousin to a couple concerts and had to sit through them.

OH too funny! I was into them but not THAT into them. Missed the Today show, too. Were they really worth all the hype? I want to know!

How funny...Would you believe I use to sneak and watch Steph's Video of them in concert. I didn't want anyone making fun of me but I loved to watch them. I actually would love to see them in concert. I am a kid at heart.

Hearing them getting back together makes me feel old too. When American Idol started and my teenage sister in law didn't know Paula Abdul was a signer I felt the sting then :)

I can't relate to the NKOTB crazy but every time the Osmonds come on TV, I am taken back to my childhood. :-)
