Chugging along

We are now at 12 weeks till baby comes and counting. Ethan slept all night in his toddler bed two nights in a row AND he took a nap today in his bed without me and without a movie! We are making progress! He's getting really good at telling me, "poopie diaper." I'm wondering how long it will be before this kid starts potty training. I don't want to deal with one in the middle of potty training and bring home a new born at the same time, but I also don't' want to miss the opportunity if he's showing me signs of being ready.

We're still wrapping our minds around the idea that it's the end of January, it's in the upper 70's and I had to turn the air conditioning on again today.

I'll refrain from complaining about the bitter cold winds here, and just share the joy in children sleeping through the night.

How awesome that Ethan is adapting so readily. Rock on!! And, definitely no need for the airconditioning here. I was thinking today that I'm almost sick of winter now. It's just been unbelievably cold. I'm not ready for summer, but the snow novelty is wearing off.

Not too much longer now! I've managed to time each of my kids so I had a toddler potty training AND a newborn baby each time. Smart me.

Hi! I haven't been by in ages. It's good to read that you and baby are doing well. Prayers and best wishes.

YAY for sleeping in the toddler bed. Good thoughts and hopes for quick potty training, too. :)

Hey you know what I miss? An ice cold glass of water from the tap. You can't get that here in FLA. So cool that Ethan is doing it! Way to go DUDE!

What a smart little man Ethan is!! I bet that he will have this thing down pat before that precious little girl comes! Good for him in the big boy's bed too!!

I'm sitting here at work with 2 pair of socks on and my toes are still frozen! box up some of that heat and send our way. Potty training is a lot of fun...it's been 25 years ago for me, before pull-ups. I remember throwing out many pairs of training pants cause it was hard to get them to look clean. Steph was easier than Nathan to potty train. See, you have that to look forward to...your little girl will be a breeze to potty train.
