A kid can play all day with blankets and chairs. Sometimes I wonder why I buy toys? Little ones have such creative energy!

Forts are one of our favorite things to build. I think just about every table, chair, couch, blanket, and pillow in our house has been part of a fort at some point. They are so much fun...and kids seem to get along better when they're playing in a fort.

I too have 3 boys and making forts out of cushions, chairs and blankets has got to be one of their favorite things to do. Great picture - thanks for sharing.

I use to love making forts over the dining room table and even eating lunch under there....fun times!

Ohhh .... I love forts!! At the moment, I have the bragging rights of being the best fort maker in the world!! Our forts usually end up taking up our entire living room and we practically live in it for at least two days at a time. We eat, sleep and play all day and night there.

When I was little, my dad made this huge super cool one and for the entire summer, my sister and I lived in it. At least I can say that I came by this talent genetically. :)

that is very cool. I often built a house/fort under the kitchen table. ...I think all kids love forts.
