Best Day Ever

I'll soon be on an airplane headed back to "the Sunshine State" but today will be remembered forever. First, I was super excited to go to a bloggy tea party breakfast. We had old friends and new and it was so much fun. Then I found out that it was really a surprise baby shower to celebrate my little girl coming into the world. I was so overwhelmed and surprised! I cried harder than I have in a LONG time! It meant so much to me. We've been starting a new mission in life and we've been going it alone. Today's surprise shower really reminded me that I am loved and not forgotten even if we've moved across the country. When I get home I'll post some pictures of the wonderful time but for now, head over to Crooked Eyebrow to check things out!

After that it was time for a nap (having a cry that hard can really take it out of you). Then it was back out to have coffee with my best friend. I came back to give my little boys a kiss goodnight and Scott and I actually had a real date! We went to one of our favorite restaurants in the area, House of Kobe, and then out to see August Rush with my b and sil. It was such an awesome day. We just MUST come back for Christmas.

I've just been reading about your terrific bloggie tea party and surprise shower all over "town" - Adventures in B'wearing, Glass Half Full, etc. What great fun! So glad you felt bathed in love. :)

I had no idea you would respond the way you did, it must have been all from God, because I am so happy you were blessed in such a way! I really wanted to see August Rush, too! Did you like it?

What a wonderful gift from friends while you are home. I'm glad you are enjoying your time and being encouraged; moving so far from home, friends, and family is a difficult transition.
