I guess I can kiss mother of the year goodbye

Baby, on the kitchen counter, pumpkin carving knife in hand. What do I do? Take a picture of course!

I'll give you mom of the year. You were letting him have fun, it's not like you left him alone with the knife. So I say you win! haha

When my youngest was that age, I snapped a pic of him of him eating the pumpkin lid - Before I took it away!

He is so cute. I never understood how those knives could go right through a pumpkin. They don't even cut bread.

I am ashamed to say how many times stuff like that happened with my 4th child...really! If it wasn't for God's Grace :-)
It did make a cute picture, anyhow!

At least he was trying to carve the pumpkin and not himself :-)

Looks like Daddy's hopes for a left-handed pitcher are dashed. That's his right hand he's using to carve that pumpkin, isn't it? He's so-o-o cute, and so serious about his work!

He removed the top of the pumpkin with his left hand and is holding it in place while he negotiates the knife with the other hand - he's still going to be a left-handed pitcher. I can change him if I have to.
