Unfortunately, I think I know where they heard all those words... :-(

But I love your groovy new look!

Very funny Pastor Scott! I like the new look, Sheryl! Hearts at Home had this look on their brochures last year. Very fun and girly.
I can't recall hearing my girls say the first 2 lately, but the top three "bad words" in our house are:
1. shut up
2. stupid
3. can't

Love the new look!

I haven't heard them say anything too surprising- yet. Hmmm... wonder what's in store!?

The top three most ANNOYING things I hear (in a whiney voice.)
1. Noah just did ____.
2. Carter just _____ me.
3. What else can I have? (RIGHT after eating a meal.)

I love your new design! Cute!
Let's see.... at my house, it's:
1) MOOOOOOOOOM!
2) It wasn't me.
3) (sibling's name, said in an aggrieved tone.)

Our pastor just did a message last weekend on revering the Lord. Saying things like "Oh my gosh" and even "gosh darnit" are becoming swear words we won't allow since they are only substitutes for the real words themselves. The message was very convicting and we are really becoming aware of how often we use this "phrase-ology." Ah, the things kids say.

Am I the black sheep? Am I the only one who's kids have said actual bad words? I'm not raising sailors or anything, but they have heard them, they have said them. They cussed in Shrek for goodness sakes! I'll save you the four letter variety.

1. What the.... (without finishing it) I hate this one
2. crap
3. darn it

p.s. I LOVE the new look!

No - Robin you are not alone! Unfortunately, my son learned that word from his mommy half a year ago when a drunk driver almost hit us. And ... he has never forgotten that word despite our best efforts to ignore it.

1. Oh F@#*!
2. No!
3. RIGHT Now! (accompanied by foot stomp)

Love the new look Sheryl!! :)

Let me specify that Lil Monte says "What the" and doesn't add anything at the end. I re read that and wasn't sure it came out right. They have said cuss word, but not for a long time since they were little and didn't know better!

I knew what you meant. I didn't think that your kids were "R" rated or anything ; )
You know, that's the one downside of having your kids with you 24/7. They are right undertoe for all of the "bad" words. My husband tried to take the blame for these, but I'm sure I'm the one who introduced crap to the kids.
These aren't really all that bad, but when coming out of the mouth of a 3 or 4 year old in the appropriate context just makes my own mouth drop open:
!. WHAT-EV---ERRRRR!
2. Wellllll....actually...
3. I'm not thinkin'so, Mom.
4. Um...we need to talk about that soup. (About some soup PandaGirl DID NOT want to eat!)
5. Miao (our cat), you're FREAKIN' ME OUT!

I would have to say "shut up" and "stupid". I cannot stand hearing these to things come out of their mouths, it makes me upset. Ive also heard "what the.." from my 5 year old, who heard it from my 11 year old.
